Press fittings
NewPlast - We Are Responsible For Your Well-being

Press-fittings are, too, classified into two types: nickel-plated and without cover. Press-cupped blank is made from high-quality special steel. During the installation of the system press connection the squeezing press-cupped blank is firmly tightened to the fitting case with consequent squeezing of the press-cupped blank by means of the squeezing instrument. The depth of the fitting set is controlled through the viewing windows in the press-cupped blank. The profile of the press-fitting case has got the form of a brush the edges of which, when pressed, emerge into the inner layer of the pipe polyethylene. Between the case and the inner surface of the pipe, two rubber rings, made from EP-DM which is steady against heat and material aging, are inserted into grooves. This material was approved by the German professional KTW and was allowed to be applied in drinking water supply systems. One of the main advantages of NewPlast press-fittings is the possibility of their covered installation (filling into concrete) that considerably widens the possibilities to project systems with covered distribution in floor and wall arrays, and, besides, during the arrangement of various configurations of warm floor there is no need to provide additional viewing and technical hatches. The application of NewPlast press-fittings lessens the number of demountable joints and this makes the systems more reliable. Their sealing rings are located out of the zone of radial squeezing of the press-tool, and this prevents the destruction of press-fittings while squeezing, and the arrangement flared end of the press-cupped blank eases the installation of the pipe into the choke.
