     Standards 

     NewPlast pressure pipes are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of ISO R 51613-2000 and ISO R 52134-2003.  

     NewPlast pressure pipes from polyvinylchloride are characterized by: 
          ·        ability to form with the surrounding soil a single system capable of reducing the load;
          ·        high hermiticity;
          ·        high fire-prevetion properties;
          ·        stability against wandering currents (does not transmit currents);
          ·        stability towards rodents;
          ·        high elasticity that reduces the shock hydraulic wave (shock wave distribution speed, as compared to that of steel and cast iron, is less for a number of times for PVC:  a = 240 up to 380 m/s);
          ·        resistance against friction;
          ·        high durability.

     Package 

     The pipes are produced in direct pieces from 4 to 6 m, in coordination with the customer. The pipes are tied into packages fastening them in not less than two points so that the distance between the fastening points is from 2 to 2.5 m.  

     Fittings 

     The following fitting types are used for connecting PVC pipes:
         
·        fittings for connection with the help of glue,
         
·        fittings of mechanical type. 

     The main method of connecting NewPlast PVC pipes and fittings is the gluing connection or the so-called “cold welding”. In this case, gluing is realized with the help of glue that represents a liquid polymer. For this reason, in the process of gluing the connections is on the molecular level that guarantees its high reliability and hermiticity. The main advantage of the gluing connection is the absence of necessity of expensive welding equipment and a possibility of simple installation of technologically hard sections of pipelines. Besides the gluing fittings, there exists a wide range of screw connections, as well as various types of connecting elements for transits to metal.
