Pipes and fittings are transported by any means of transport, according to the rules of cargo transportation, as well as cargo loading and fastening technical conditions, operating for the given type of vehicle. Transportation should be carried out with maximal usage of the vehicle capacity. 

     Pipes and fittings should be preserved from blows and mechanical loading, and their surface should be kept away from scratches. During transportation pipes must be placed on an even surface of the vehicle, protecting from sharp edges and platform webbings. 

     Pipes and fittings should be stored in non-heated closed warehouse areas, excluding the possibility of mechanical damages, or they may be kept in heated warehouses not closer than one meter from the heating devices. They must be protected from the impact of direct sunbeams and precipitations at the temperature from –100C up to 400C. At storage the pipes are collected into piles which are not higher than 3m.
